This seax has the classic 'broken-back' shape of blade, in differentially hardened 1095, etched to satin finish. The handcarved Burr Elm handle has a copper pommel-plate and ring. The handsewn and tooled sheath echoes that of the 'Hunting Knife of Charlemagne' in heavy cowhide, with copper fittings and suspension loops.. £825
