1095, Poplar Burr, Magnolia, Copper & Brass, 28.5cm

This art-knife has a slim 7” 1095 un-etched (differentially hardened) blade. The Poplar Burr full-tang handle is embellished with moths carved from copper, fixed with brass pins. The sheath is formed from multiple layers of Magnolia wood, with a lacquered finish overlaying the knotwork pattern. The netsuke is Bog-oak, with a Poplar Burr moth sculpture, brass pins, and suede lace.
